Bowling Night

We had a fun date night bowling- Tyler even came with us- He was so fascinated by his favorite toy that was 10X its normal size. Daren & Shannon, Jake & Sydni, and Jeff & Kirsti-- we played teams, and even though Jeff bowled the best, we lost cuz I bowled the worst!! I'm so bad at this game. It's somehow impossible for me to get it straight. I even asked for a super light ball from the front counter. They save them back there for the kids-- Anyways, we had lots of fun.
Here are a few action shots:

Have you heard our news?

Jeff graduated!! Pictures to come. They are not doing a winter ceremony, so we will take pictures next to an ISU sign. Jeff got a great management position with Integreen, a lawncare and landscaping company in Texas. We are moving next month to Allen, which is near Dallas/Plano. We are sad to leave our Idaho friends and family, but are excited for this new adventure. Texas will be our 11th move since we've been married (4 years). That's a lot of moving. We will probably be in Texas for about 5 years, and although we are sad to not be near any family, we look forward to having a place to call Home- Here is a picture of our texas house- it is 1800 sq feet, 3 bedrooms plus a study, 2 bath, and a backyard!! We will have a guest room, so plan a trip to visit!

Rexburg Temple

The Rexburg Temple is now finished and we got to go through the Open House!! It was beautiful. We were planning on doing a nice family photo outside afterwards, but it was too stinkin' cold!! We hurried out to the car and buckled Tyler in... I snapped one of Jeff in the car (which turned out really dark :(...) and he made me get out on our drive back. Wow, I'm not sure if I've ever been colder- plus I had stupid sandals on (I AM from California) I guess it is time to wear Nylons... Bummer. Luckily we are headed to a warmer climate. I think I have decided that I truly HATE snow! Anyway, back to the temple- it was really pretty. The best part for me was seeing the murals- painted by Bro. Parson, my oil painting teacher at BYU-I. So amazing! The wood was brought in from Africa and the stone from Israel. What a beautiful and special temple.

I LOVE MY CAMERA

So, I got a Nikon D40 for Christmas, and Oh I love it! It takes great shots without having to work very hard. I took a photography class while I was working on my art degree, but it was a manual SLR. This one allows for manual focusing, but also does automatic which is great when I am trying to photo something quick, like Tyler! I also couldn't imagine developing my own film every week like I did in class... Thank goodness for technology that allows you to plug it in and they just pop up! Can you believe I have already taken over 350 pictures since Christmas? Wow. Here is my favorite pic so far...

New Years in Arizona

The Clark Family

We loved visiting the Clark family in AZ! Tyler LOVED playing with his cousins, being held by his aunts, meeting his uncles and being cuddled by his grandparents. We jam packed our week with lots of fun- we loved staying at Kara & Jarett's, playing frisbee golf with almost everyone, (Kirsti) sewing with Judy, (Jeff) watching football with Dad, seeing National Treasure 2, having a BBQ at the park, and playing lots of games!

Christmas in California

The Wolfe Family

We sure had fun visiting our family and friends in Claremont! I got a digital SLR camera so I was busy taking pictures of the fun day we had: Tyler enjoyed unwrapping his presents and Lily enjoyed wrapping herself in presents!! What a fun day.

Getting Into the Spirit of Christmas!!

http://www.elfyourself.com/?id=9635440002
Jeff, Tyler and I decided to do a little dance to celebrate our excitement for Christmas this year!! Click on the link above to see how cute we are!

Thanksgiving in California!

Well, we sure had fun in Claremont!
It was so great to see everyone and we did all sorts of fun things. Thanksgiving dinner was at Lanie and Papa Ed's and was delicious as usual. For the first time EVER, we got up at 6:30 am to do Christmas shopping the day after Thanksgiving. Katie and I were so surprised to see Mom get up and come with us. We weren't surprised that she'd get up, but shopping in crowds is not her thing. We got so many great deals, I think this may become a Wolfe girl tradition --maybe :) We played frisbee golf at the world's first disc golf course in Pasadena. We went to Bass Pro to window shop, practice shooting-ha, and eat seafood. We watched a great football game when BYU beat Utah. And best of all: Tyler learning to crawl while we were there! What a fun and eventful week!!

Frisbee Golf Adventure

Here is the picture of our fun group playing frisbee golf:
Katie, Dad, Casey, Mark, Jeff, Andy!! Mom, Tyler and I were there too ;)

HE DID IT!!

Last night Tyler slept through the night!! I'm talking 12 hours, non-stop, no noise, nothing!! It was wonderful. I woke up to his sweet cries at 7:00 this morning thinking it had to be about 4 am, but no, he did it! Although he may be 4 months past due (according to many of my friends), I'll take it. It took awhile for us to be able to let him cry 5 minutes here and there during the night, but once we did, he's been sleeping much better (Besides the occasional cold and tooth cutting here and there). Which I just noticed he grew another tooth without any warning; I just found another tooth in his mouth, all the way through the gums. Now it makes sense that he woke 3-4 times every night when we were in Cali. visiting my family. But like I said, last night was wonderful and a much needed catch up after the busy fun we had over the Thanksgiving holiday! Thank you Tyler!

Tyler's First Haircut!

Well, we decided Tyler's mohawk needed a little trim. He was a great customer (not quite as bossy as Jeff!) and paid me in kisses afterward. I'm sure you will be able to pick out the before and after. I think he actually enjoyed it! I think his new doo makes him look a little older, which is perfect since he is 8 months old tomorrow!!!

Happy Halloween!!

So, this picture pretty much sums it up!! The combination of teething, a cold, Dad gone at school all day, and finally realizing he was a skunk made for a hard day.

Here we are a little happier without the hat.

Zac the Monkey and Tyler the Skunk: Trying to help each other get that funny nose paint off!

Once we got the boys all dressed up, we headed to our ward's Trunk-or-Treat activity. Yes, I felt a little funny taking around a baby who clearly was not going to enjoy the candy collection. But I had a job to do: Jeff told me to get as much candy as possible since he would not be there to do so himself. I couldn't disappoint him. (And after the long day I previously mentioned, I was in need of some chocolate myself!)
It didn't take long for Tyler to figure out what Halloween is all about. I'm sure you can imagine my thought process at this moment: He is happy so take the picture then figure out how to distract him while removing the sugar from his paws.

Here he is the next morning after a good night sleep in his skeleton pjs.

Halloween Fun

Tyler climbing on them and yes Jeff really used a drill to carve his entire pumpkin!!

I love Tyler's pumpkin- its a baby face. Cute big eyes and a bottom-tooth-grin! Jeff's is the big one and my pumpkin has the bats! OOOH scary!

This is just our pre-Halloween fun. More pictures to come. Don't you worry!

Who does Tyler look like now?

Now that Tyler is 7 months old, we can see a little of both of us. Take the poll and decide for yourself who you think he resembles the most.
