Our Weekend in Park City

We drove down to Park City to visit Lanie & Papa and Katie at the condo. We had a great weekend together! We found Tyler's Halloween costume (a skunk!!) and enjoyed the weekend away. It snowed all day Saturday but Katie and I still went shopping at the outlets! Tyler loved playing with everybody, even Buck!

Labor Day in Boise

For Labor Day, we all went to Boise to visit Tommy, Melonie and Lily!! The adults got to go rafting down the Payette River.

We also played Frisbee Golf one day (Our favorite thing to do lately!!) Jeff was so proud of me that I had the best throw. After him and my dad, of course... don't tell Tommy ;)

Back to Idaho

Well, the end of August, we celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary!! as we drove across the country to return to Idaho ;)

In Wyoming we found a Jeffrey City and had to stop!! Jeff swears the mileage sign said

"Jeffery City" which is how he spells his name. This one said "Jeffrey"- he was a little bummed.

Then finally we arrived in Idaho... Just in time to check out this beautiful sunset. We knew we

were home.



I believe this one should be entered in a contest. The texture of the grass and his hair look so cool... and of course the baby's pretty cute too.

Tyler's New Trick!!

This week Tyler started to sit up on his own!! He LOVES to sit up and play with his toys which proves his independence. He is beginning to fall asleep on his own without me rocking him, which is nice when I am busy working or packing, but sad to know he is becoming a big boy.

We have had a wonderful summer, filled with new experiences and great friendships. We are sad to end our Florida adventure, but look forward to continued happiness in Idaho. We leave Florida on Wednesday and start our 5 day journey back to Rexburg. We are looking forward to seeing some new states and filling out our map of places we've been together! Jeff wanted me to plan our route home; we are passing through Atlanta to visit Alex (an old friend of ours from college), staying in St. Louis one night, and then to spend a day with Jeff's grandparents in Nebraska! Then we get to move into our new home!!! We are so extremely excited to have a place to call our own.

By the way, for anyone who has seen Jeff's baby pictures, this one of Ty looks just like him!

Jeff loves to feed Tyler (and Tyler loves Daddy's food)... as you can tell he doesn't want his baby to miss out on any of the good things in life!

GATORLAND

We saw this HUGE yellow snake in the entrance of Gatorland. Katie was feeling very brave so she asked a tour guide if she could touch it. They told her that he probably wont bite and that they hadn't lost anyone yet. Katie told Mom to get the camera ready, she slowly leaned in to touch the snake, and then realized it was fake!! No wonder his name is Cuddles!!

Kennedy Space Center

Tyler wants to be an astronaut and so does Katie!



Thanks for the spaceship grandpa! We sure had a blast!

Central Florida Everglades

When Tom, Shauna and Katie visited us in August, we did an airboat ride in the St. John's River. We didn't know that there were everglades less than an hour away from Orlando!! We had a blast and saw tons of alligators, beautiful birds, jumping fish and gorgeous swamp lands and trees!

Flashing Froggies from Casey!!

Casey, my sister Katie's boyfriend, sent Tyler these glowing frogs that are also bath toys. I put them in his crib after nap time and he LOVES them!! Tomorrow we will play in the tub! THANKS CASEY! ;)

There Were Three in the Bed and the Little One Said, "Rollover, Rollover!!"

Early in the mornings when we can hardly keep our eyes open to entertain Tyler, we have been rolling him back and forth to each other.

Every day since then he has gotten closer and closer to rollover on his own!

Yesterday I was trying to change his clothes and he didn't want to so he turned on his side, yanked on the blanket and rolled all the way over!! So I guess the battle begins!

Good Ol' Rice Cereal!!

On July 14th, we gave Tyler some rice cereal, which he didn't seem to like and decided to spit all over!! Come to find out at 4 months old, feeding him solids is more for entertainment purposes than for nutritional value. He sure is adorable!!!

Happy Fourth of July!

Tyler is now 4 months old!

He was very patriotic and enjoyed the festive day. We went on a long walk around the lake to the mall and met Jeff for a BBQ. Then we saw the movie Transformers and loved it!

Tyler's First Swim

We took Tyler to the pool for the first time in June. He kept staring down at the water, and seemed to enjoy it. Since then, he kicks around in the bath tub and is starting to get the hang of splashing in the water.

Florida Fun!

We love going to the beach!

On Father's Day we had a BBQ with the APX team at Cocoa Beach and they found a couple of ghost crabs. I was so scared but they made me hold one for a picture.

If you could hear me while they took the picture, I was screaming "Hurry, hurry, hurry!"
